1914
Basys was founded in the village Bardowick by Friedrich Lüllau. He was a pioneer of blueprint technology.
1945
His son Georg Lüllau joined the company. With his ideas and patents he continues the innovative force of the beginning. The company became a successful manufacturer of blueprinting machines under the leadership of Georg and his brother Friedrich Lüllau.
1985
Rolf Lüllau became the owner together with his cousin Friedrich Lüllau. With ideas for new machines and units the product spectrum enlarged.
1989
A new building in Lüneburg was the result of the growing company, due to the innovative and high quality products with extraordinary design.
1992
Development, production and sales of folding machines started.
1994
Basys develops the first Computer-to-Plate-Unit for conventional printing plates. Friedrich Lüllau started with the new company basysPrint the development and production of so called UV-Setter for the printing industry.
1995
Rolf Lüllau took over the shares of Friedrich Lüllau for the company Basys.
1996
Basys enlarged the production of sheet metal products as a partner for other companies.
1997
The new product Motion Displays was introduced to the market. With this step Basys is one of the first companies starting with development, production and sales of these units. For the advertising industry different other models of Displays followed later.
2006
The continuous growth of the 3 divisions ( units for advertising and reprography, OEM-manufacturing and sheet metal products ) requires new facilities. So we look forward to a successful future.
